The books are published under the GNU Free Documentation License (version 1.3 with Invariant Sections, Front-Cover Text, Back-Cover Text) allowing, among other things, use for commercial purposes (subject to terms). Each book is accompanied by an index file which includes additional information and in particular the specific “dedications” section.

Tools

  • Simana - an alarm clock application based on astronomical hours (temporal hours, similar to a sundial).
  • Ivrit Toranit (i.e. Torah literature Hebrew) - free spelling dictionary. It includes Hebrew from different epochs, Western and Eastern Aramaic.
  • Dar - lightweight markup language suitable for editing of Torah related texts.
  • Dar.js - converter of the Dar language into HTML and other formats.
  • Rashi script model for optical character recognition (OCR).
