The books are published under the GNU Free Documentation License (version 1.3 with Invariant Sections, Front-Cover Text, Back-Cover Text) allowing, among other things, use for commercial purposes (subject to terms). Each book is accompanied by an index file which includes additional information and in particular the specific “dedications” section.

Explanation on complying with the license terms.

Tools

  • Ivrit Toranit (i.e. Torah literature Hebrew) - free spelling dictionary. It includes Hebrew from different epochs, Western and Eastern Aramaic.
  • Rashi script model for optical character recognition (OCR).
  • Dar - lightweight markup language suitable for editing of Torah related texts.
